DJ Swerve Presents “Sid and Friends”
If you have been following any of us on twitter this week then you def know about Sid-n-Friends. DJ Swerve is a dj based out of Kent, Oh and this is the first of his compilation of local area artists. The tape def shows the cream of the crop that has yet to be seen, from your technical lyricists to your party pumpers and even a track from up and coming electronic outfit Freeze-Tag. Last night was the release party for it and I have to say that the hard work Swerve, Field Day, and the Roc Bar crew put into this whole thing has me focused, humbled, and most of all grateful.
This tape is the start of another phase of musicians who have something to show and I hope you got your ears ready. Shouts to Mike Mankowski for the album cover and shouts to Keep On Repeat for always helping us get out our dreams, Chris is the fucking man.
